YUM!!! Swung by here after hitting up some local shops in Cedar Glen. I love the authentic 50s feel you're presented with as you enter the diner. Very friendly staff and quick service. Our order was prepared quickly and was sooo delicious! The banana split was a delicious beauty that fed 3 for only $9.99! The perfect place for a sweet treat! I will definitely be back.
Update** Fries have been much much better the last few times we've eaten here. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Stopped by the Malt Shop on the way home from Lake Arrowhead. Most places up in the mountains are dog friend, but this place was not. Their chili was incredible, so much so that I would recommend getting a bowl and not a cup. Their burgers are decent as well and service was very quick and friendly. There are parking spots right outside the establishment, but I could see them filling up fast during a busy time. All in all, a great place to go with the kids!
I have never tried malt vanilla shake prior to Cedar Glen. After I did, it forever has sealed the deal for me and whenever I come back to this area, I would definitely go back for my luxury sweet treat and sugar rush. Thank you for your nice service and good old fashioned treats.
